The Orbitempo team
We make Orbitempo, a calm focus app for Mac, and we write this blog.
Who writes the posts
The people who design and build Orbitempo. We write about the problems the app is for: starting, time, focus, routines and rest. Orbitempo holds editorial responsibility for everything published here.
How a post is made
- We pick one question people ask, and something only this post will add: a tool, a worked example or a side-by-side look at the studies.
- A first draft is written with AI help.
- Every source is opened in the original and checked on its Crossref record for corrections. Every number is matched to the paper, and every sentence that cites a study says who was studied.
- Every line about the app is checked against the current build.
- A person on the team edits the whole post and signs it off before it goes up.
What we are not
We’re not clinicians. The blog gives general information, not medical advice. No post has had a clinician’s review yet. Where a post has an “If you have ADHD” section, that section reports what studies found and points you to a doctor.
